Lawson Lundell’s Firm Rebrand and Headshots

We worked with Lawson Lundell, one of the leading law firms in Canada, on a full visual rebrand that included corporate headshots and workplace photography across multiple offices. As a studio known for Vancouver headshots and large-scale corporate work, we were brought in to deliver consistent results across hundreds of lawyers and several cities.

In professional services, first impressions almost always start online; Law firms know this well. According to LinkedIn data, profiles with professional headshots receive up to 14 times more profile views than those without, and having a consistent brand imagery helps improve trust.

Firm-Wide Headshots Across Multiple Offices

This project included photographing hundreds of lawyers in each of Lawson Lundell’s offices in:

  • Vancouver
  • Calgary
  • Yellowknife
  • Kelowna

Each location needed to match the same exact visual style. Headshots had to feel current, professional, and cohesive across the firm’s website and internal platforms. Consistency was essential, especially for a firm with offices spread across Canada.

We photographed lawyers directly in their offices, bringing a mobile studio setup to each location. This allowed us to create a consistent look while keeping the sessions efficient and minimally disruptive to the firm’s work schedule.

Forbes mentioned a report by Lucidpress shows that “consistent brand presentation across all platforms can increase revenues by up to 23%“, which made consistency a core requirement for this project.

High-Volume Corporate Headshots in Vancouver and Beyond

Handling a project of this size requires more than just technical skill. It required planning, structure, and experience with high-volume corporate headshots. Sessions were scheduled in blocks to keep things moving while still allowing each person time in front of the camera.

Our process is designed so that headshots taken in Vancouver look the exact same style as those taken in Calgary, Yellowknife or any other location. Lighting, framing, and direction remain consistent from office to office, which helps the firm present a unified image.

Office Photography and Staged Workplace Images

In addition to headshots, we photographed Lawson Lundell’s office spaces and staged images of employees working together in their offices. These images were created specifically for use on the firm’s website and marketing materials.

Workplace photography adds context to corporate headshots. It shows how people interact, how spaces are used, and how the firm operates day to day. These images help balance formal portraits with more natural moments, giving visitors or potential clients a better sense of the firm’s culture.

After the sessions, all the images go through a standardized post-production process to maintain consistency. Final photos were delivered in formats suitable for web, internal systems, and professional profiles. This attention to detail is important when images are rolled out across an entire website during a rebrand.

Forbes Advisor’s Website Statistics reported that users form an opinion about a website in 0.05 seconds, which shows imagery plays a major role in trust. Forbes also mentions that having an inconsistent visual identity erodes consumer trust.

Ongoing Headshots for New Hires and Articling Students

Our work with Lawson Lundell continues beyond the initial rebrand. We regularly photography new hires and articling students, either at our studio or on-site to make sure that the new team members match the existing headshots and fit seamlessly into the firm’s visual brand.

Long term relationships like this are a key part of our corporate headshot work in Vancouver.

Supporting Corporate Clients with Vancouver Headshots

This project reflects how we approach Vancouver headshots for law firms and professional organizations. Whether it’s a full firm rebrand or ongoing headshots for growing teams, our focus stays the same, clear, planning, consistent results, and minimal disruption.

Working with Lawson Lundell across multiple offices shows what’s possible when corporate photography is handled with structure and experience.
