She brings nearly two decades of deep retail experience to her current role. Her career is a testament to operational excellence, having risen from the ground at a Aritzia, progressing from the sales floor to leading stores across multiple regions, and eventually serving as a Direct of Support Operations. Today, she leverages that extensive acumen to fuel and build out the retail division for Monos, a company she values for its leadership, people-centric culture and significant worldwide growth trajectory.

When you’re steering the retail expansion of a highly visible, minimalist brand, your professional image needs to show both capability and approachability especially for photographing a leader in the premium lifestyle space. For this session, we used a crisp white backdrop that goes with the clean “less is more” aesthetic of the Monos brand.
We captured versatile looks to make sure Anita has the right image for various professional needs. In one of the other portrait, she wears a black blazer draped over her shoulders, projecting that executive presence. A great corporate pose but still very fashionable, since blazers are inherently formal, so over the shoulders will make it look more relaxed.
As for the second portrait, we went with a seated post with crossed-arms on a black table. This one gives more of a friendly vibe, perhaps in a more inviting setting similar to chatting with one another in the evening at a table without the black blazer.
She keeps a warm and engaging smile that reflects on her focus of human connection.
