Ramir’s love for photography started in childhood and evolved into career focused on capturing authentic expressions. Under the mentorship of a master photographer, he developed a sharp eye for lighting, composition, and the small details that bring a portrait to life.
Photographer
I picked up my first Kodak film camera in elementary school and carried one with me ever since. I’ve always enjoyed capturing social interactions and intimate moments, turning them into lasting prints. When digital photography became more accessible, I expanded my skills into street, nature, and automotive photography, which eventually led me to pursue photography as a profession.
As a photographer, my goal is to create authentic images that bring out the unique spirit of each person I work with.
Photographer
Born and raised in Vancouver, BC, I’ve been working as a photographer for over 15 years. I started with high school and university graduation portraits before expanding into events, weddings, headshots, fashion, and dance & movement photography. My passion for capturing genuine expressions and moments has always been at the core of my work.
For the past 12 years, I’ve also worked in the BC film industry as part of the camera department on major Hollywood productions like Deadpool, Star Trek, and Planet of the Apes.
Hair & Makeup Artist
I was born and raised in Osaka, Japan, and my passion for hair and makeup started early when I first saw the Paris Collection on TV. That moment sparked my curiosity, leading me to study at a hair and makeup college for two years before starting my career.
For over 12 years, I’ve worked as a hair and makeup artist for weddings, magazines, and fashion shows. My passion for learning brought me to Canada and Australia, where I continued to refine my skills. I take great pride in my work and always strive for perfection, ensuring every client looks and feels their best.
Photographer
I grew up in Imabari, Ehime, and studied fashion business in Osaka before starting as a product photographer at ZOZO, Japan’s largest fashion e-commerce company. After nearly five years there, I decided to explore new possibilities, traveling with my camera and a fresh perspective.
In 2018, I moved to Vancouver, then New Zealand, where I rediscovered my love for photography. What started as a hobby quickly became my calling. After returning to Vancouver in 2020, I now focus on creating professional headshots that help people make a strong and authentic impression.
Studio Director & Digital Marketing
Young started in business and marketing but found a passion for photography through helping professionals build their personal brands. He works with clients to create headshots that match their professional image and career goals. He understands that a great headshot is more than just a photo—it’s about making a strong first impression.
We use Sony cameras and Godox lighting to capture high-quality images. Our setup includes softboxes, backdrops, and reflectors to create the right lighting for each shot.
The studio is spacious and open, with a dedicated makeup area for preparation. We also offer tethered shooting, which lets you see photos instantly on a large screen. This helps with quick adjustments, better collaboration, and an efficient workflow.
Our setup ensures a smooth process, so you get the best results from your session.
