A Look Back at the Year at Headshot Photo

It’s been a busy year at our studio, we’ve been running around Vancouver, especially near our spot by Coal Harbour and beyond, working with a solid mix of top major firms and local businesses.

The year mainly focused heavily on corporate headshots, as a studio that specializes in Vancouver headshots. A highlight was working with Lawson Lundell, one of the top firms in Canada. We handled their full rebrand, which meant traveling to their offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Yellowknife, and Kelowna to photograph hundreds of lawyers at each of their offices.

It was a massive project, but we’re set up to handle that kind of high-volume headshot work. Projects at this scale require planning, speed and consistency. Being able to move between offices and deliver matching results across multiple cities is something we’ve built our workflow around.

Legal and Corporate Headshots in Vancouver

Our work with Lawson Lundell didn’t stop there. We’re continuing that relationship by photographing their new hires and articling students as they come on board. Also, we’ve built long-term relationships with other major law firms like DLA Piper (among the top 3 firms in North America), MLT Aikins, North Point Legal and Preszler Injury Lawyers.

It’s not just law firms, though, we also photographed teams and leaders at BMO, Telus, Stewart Title, Kobrea Exploration, and the BC Treaty Commission. Being located in Downtown makes these sessions easy to schedule, especially for the offices nearby.

We had the chance to photograph individuals like Adam Dalrymple, President of the B.C. Crown Counsel Association, and George Abbott, Commissioner for the B.C. Treaty Commission. These portraits are straightforward and practical, which is often what clients prefer for versatility.

Actors, Entrepreneurs, and Personal Headshots

Outside of corporate headshot work, we photographed actors, social media influencers, consultants, and realtors who needed updated headshots for auditions, websites or marketing. Vancouver’s creative and business communities overlap more than people think, and headshots are often a shared need.

We also worked with Julie Kim, the comedian, with Michelle Tran, a beauty salon owner from Meraki Beauty Bar, and Will Chen, a custom clothier from Kingly Menswear. These sessions lean more toward personal branding but still stay clean and simple.

Seasonal and Event Photography

We also ran Holiday Photo Sessions that brought in families and individuals looking for something easy and well-lit. We also photographed preschool and school photos, fundraiser mini sessions, which keep us on our toes.

We provided photo booths for weddings, corporate events as well, adding another layer to the year’s work and letting us step outside the studio from time to time.

Looking Ahead

Being based in Downtown, Vancouver, close to Coal Harbour, means many of our clients are local and often return. As demand for professional Vancouver headshots continues, our focus stays the same, attention to the smallest details to provide the best photos that people can use for years.

Thanks to everyone who worked with us in 2025. We’re looking forward to what’s next!
